Grand-Prize Winner in Salon Today Magazine’s “Salons of the Year” Competition
Blo, a favorite area salon located in Raleigh’s Brier Creek Commons, has been named the grand-prize winner in the nationally acclaimed “Salons of the Year” interior design competition sponsored by SALON TODAY, the leading business publication for the professional salon industry. The salon, owned by Bryan Nunes, is featured on the cover of the June 2011 issue of SALON TODAY magazine.
“Our judges were impressed with the way Nunes and his team designed a space that touched on all the senses, while creating new centers of profitability for Blo,” said Stacey Soble, editor-in-chief of SALON TODAY.
Blo underwent a makeover of its own last year, doubling in size to more than 4,600 square feet. The expansion transformed Blo’s already award-winning space to add a second color bar, a second styling gallery, two makeup styling galleries, and a waxing room. Blo is the largest hair salon in the Carolinas.
